About

2 min read

Tech & IA is a blog of explanations. It deals with what makes today’s software work, or fail: agents and language models, deployment platforms, the security of delivery chains, measuring a website’s performance.

What you will find here

In-depth articles, around a thousand words long, that try to make a subject understandable rather than comment on the news. Each one is written to stay true: when a point is likely to change, the article explains the principle instead of quoting a figure that would age badly.

Articles are filed under four sections: AI, development, cloud and DevOps, and security. The archive orders them by date, and search covers the full text.

Who runs it

My name is Georges Momo, I am a developer and I created Cogenta, the open source CMS this site runs on. The blog also serves as a testing ground: what it says about agents, security or deployment comes partly from problems met while building that software.

How it is made

The site runs on Cogenta, published under the MPL 2.0 licence. The photographs come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under the licence chosen by their author; the credits page lists them all. No image is generated.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is this a news blog?

No. The articles explain notions and methods that stay valid for years. If a point becomes wrong, the article is corrected rather than left as is.

  • How can I follow new articles?

Through the RSS feed, whose address appears at the bottom of every page. There is no email newsletter for now.

  • What software runs the site?

Cogenta, an open source CMS written in Node.js, whose project is published on GitHub.

  • Where do the photographs come from?

From Wikimedia Commons, under licences that allow reuse. Each author and licence is listed on the photo credits page.
